Return to Church Renovation Home Page

September 12 - September 19, 2016

Week 7 was fairly quiet at the site. As we began to grade the area of the 2 lots on Oak it was discovered that the soil is not as stable as the rest of the area. This will require some re-engineering and will change the scope of the work. Perhaps quiet on the site but “shop drawings” have been approved and sent out for steel work such as basement stairs and floor support over the basement as well as some pre-cast concrete work.

We also saw the completion of getting the new power line run under Church Street, meter box installed and the pad for the transformer placed. And finally…Mike Beshoar and crew did quick work on removing the trees in the back area. When the survey stakes were placed we realized that there was just no way to keep those trees.

Week 7 - Completed

• Continue work on the parking lot.
• Electrical supply was run under Church Street to a new meter panel.
• Trees in parking lot area removed.
• Shop plans for steel and precast work approved.

Week 8 – Goal

• Abate and remove asbestos contaminated flooring, roof and tower siding.
